There were issues with some symbols showing up in slot positions in the editing
matrix that were literally off the grid and the

created a Finale 2012 folder inside my Applications folder and put the Finale
2012 app inside it along with the Finale 201
The play/pause button functionality has not changed here.

wow! i (almost) never use playback so didn't notice this, but this
functionality should certainly not have been removed

the pause button now seems to serve exactly the same function as the stop
button - it stops playback and on restarting either goes back to the start
of the piece or to the designated starting place.
In older versions, pause did exactly what it said, it paused playback and
