interested
in whether the bug got fixed that ignores the accidental in the second measure
when you have a tied over accidental in the measure before. I waste more time
on that one bug than anything else. The scanned result looks good but does not
playback properly.

over bar lines with strange combinations of half note tied to quarter notes,
eighth notes tied to dotted quarter tied to quarter in the next measure, etc.

for the scanning upgrade, but no one has ever
responded, so I have no way to know if it is worth my while. For example, if
the bug is in fact fixed, could I turn OFF recognition of lyrics and all the
other markings I don't want?
