That's an interesting comparison. I really wish I could use Opus in
Finale, but there's no way I'd switch to Sibelius just for that.
Also, in the Opus and Helsinki examples (which I assume both came from
Sib), the right sides of the ledger lines stick

I like quite a lot of petrucci, to my eye the clefs are modern and
elegant for example, but the accidentals aren't as defined as other
fonts. Maybe I should experiment with petrucci again and switch the font
for the accidentals.

Yes, that's a good idea, though I don't know how legal it is. Many font
licences stipulate that you can't make changes to the fonts. I started,
but never got much
