Friends...Thanks for all the recommendations. After looking at all the recommendations and doing some haggling, I **just** acquired an HP w2207h 22" pivot at a very favorable price. All of the monitors you suggested were nice; it came down to the price and terms. I am now happily staring at a

I have a 21" Syncmaster 213 at home and a 24" Dell at my office, both which swivel, and I'd recommend them. I don't use it everyday, but it's very effective when you're dealing with larger scores and other sundry items. I would never spend the extra money for the Mac monitors - too expensive for wh

I use mine quite frequently. I have a 19" Dell. It's especially handy for programming too ;-) A little tip about Dell monitors: They use the same glass that Apple does. If you like the look of Apple's monitors, wait a couple of months and that's the glass that will be in them, for much cheap

I pivot my wide-screen Dell quite often - whenever I am working on a full orch score, or even a mid-sized combo. It is also great for perusing full scores on line (such as at the IMSLP library). It only takes a few seconds to do. I only wish the screen background pic would change automatic

Honestly, you'll never use the pivot. I have a Dell 22" that can pivot (I really don't know of any that cannot), but I never use it that way. I can see all of what I want on it no problem. I'd suggest looking for something that is high definition. Dell Monitors are generally rated really high. Appl
