I have previously installed Linux (YellowDog) on my Mac. I wonder if it
is possible to mount the Linux partitions under OS X or Darwin? Or is
the only option to erase it and make it a HFS+ partition?

You have to rebuild gdk-pixbufs. The latest version in unstable finally
builds correctly. The binary version on the server (dselect ou

i have joe (Joe's own editor installed via fink), it worked well for
quite n while. But now typing joe nothing happens just a new
prompt line, that's all.

I don't believe anyone has written an EXTx filesystem for MacOS X yet. I
had the same situation. I ended up tar zipping everything I wanted from
the Linux partition, copying it to a server, and then retrieving it from
OS X. After using OS X for a short time it became obvious that I wan't

Also, I'm pretty sure there's no support yet for HFS+ under Linux.
So dont format a linux partition as HFS+, it wont work.

I'm _pretty sure_ there's no support yet for HFS+ under Linux.
So dont format a linux partition as HFS+, it wont work.

Hello
I have just installed Fink 0.4 from scratch.
I have added the unstable branch to my fink.conf file.
I have updated my system with "selfupdate-cvs" and "update all".
Now I try to "install bundle-gnome", but I get an error on the gdk-
pixbuf-shlibs-0.16-5.
I have tried twice with the s
I finally managed to get sawfish installed and working...however...I have no
icons (just text) in the taskbar...and all my windows seem to anchor to the
top, with the menubar out of view so I can't manipulate the windows. Any
suggestions?

Thanks Martin C. for pointing me in the right direction. I got into the
beginner's archive and found an article describing how to reinstall the
librarys I needed. I did so and the error of not being able to load the
libpixbufloader are gone. I still get this error though.
