2) If you run "fink-virtual-pkgs" does perl581-core show up?

possibly automake.info) files. Check all of these for a Source: field
that refers to automake-1.6.3.tar.gz.

On the other hand, if you are using the 10.2-gcc3.3 or 10.3
distributions, most likely there should have been some update

download error" message for this package.
Here's a thought. What happens if you remove automake (keep

reinstall xfree86?
