I apologize if this is a question asked over and over. The fink list
archives weren't working well.
I have installed a system on a new hard drive, installed X11, installed
fink and then tried to download the system-xfree86 package. It did not
work.
Here's what I got:
sudo fink -y install syst
e X11 when there's no WM.
See if you have a .xinitrc, and if you do, rename it to something else.
