Some detective work: Does anybody know if Matt Stephenson is still
active in Fink? I emailed him several times in the last months and
never got an answer. I also couldn't find any mail sent by him to the
mailing lists in this period.

Following the David and Martin's suggestions I've tried to fix the
problem related to system-tetex that I've reported a couple of weeks
ago (tempus fugit!!! ;-), but
I'm still trying to get a consistent package for PyX without success.
I'll describe the entire situation hoping someone can help
Is there an already defined hour for the end of the doc freeze?
As we don't have the same time zone, it will help to know it in advance
in UCT or GMT times.

Any comments about 4.3 vs. 4.4 API or ABI compatibility? Are they the
same library major-version? I've found myself going in circles on the
XFree86 website, so a pointer to a summary would be fine if we don't
want to rehash it here.
