That's odd. As far as I can tell Martin Costabel's instructions should
have made dpkg forget about sbcl altogether.
Could you possibly post your /sw/var/lib/dpkg/status file to some Web
or FTP server so that we are able to get it? If that's not possible,

cernlib depends on gcc44 not because of the C compiler but because of
the Fortran compiler (Xcode doesn't ship one). Most, if not all of our
packages that depend on gcc44 do so because of gfortran.

in more than one package (although they are related packages). Is it
ok? If one of the packages is fink purge'd than the other will lose
its ConfFile.
