Hi,
I can't install control-center..
I type :
root#fink install control-center
and at the end I get this
/usr/bin/ld: table of contents for archive:
/usr/X11R6/lib/libXxf86misc.a is out of date; rerun ranlib(1) (can't
load from it)
/usr/bin/ld: warning multiple definitions of symbol _local

hey analytical minds out there :)
OS ver.: OSX Server 10.1.2
Fink dist.: 0.4.0 CVS
Package manager: 0.9.12 CVS
It was alright for the entire 24 days since the server I administer has

Sorry to keep posting problems I have, but...
I tried installing gaim, and it seems to install all the dependents fine,

rm -rf gaim-0.56-3
mkdir -p /sw/src/gaim-0.56-3
bzip2 -dc /sw/src/gaim-0.56.tar.bz2 | tar -xf -
bzip2: /sw/src/gaim-0.56.tar.bz2 is not a bzip2 f

Works fine over here. Do you have the unstable tree activated by
chance? If so, try editing your /sw/etc/fink.conf, and make sure the
unstable tree is listed in there *before* the stable tree.

At the end I'm getting:
/usr/bin/ld: warning multiple definitions of symbol _locale_charset
/sw/lib/libintl.dylib(localcharset.lo) definition of _locale_charset

Sorry to bother all you fine folks with probably a trivial problem, but
I'm having trouble updating a few packages.
Having set up Fink to retrieve from CVS, did a selfupdate and discovered
that quite a few packages had been "repackaged" so to say, with the
addition of the shlibs. Most of the p
