Will,

Hi,
After updating to Fink 0.10, updating the package index after an selfupdate
is *much* slower: 40-50 sec instead of 3-4 sec what is used to be with
0.9.12. However the 'fink list' command only takes a few seconds. I have
done an 'fink index'.

fvwm2 is my everyday window manager, and version 2.4.8 seems to work just

Works. And finally doesn't require me to install some emacs package that
I don't need otherwise. Why can't pari-gp even use OSX's built-in
/usr/bin/emacs while building? As an interface to run pari-gp, texmacs

OroborOSX is a fork of oroborus with a *ton* of changes to taylor it for
Mac
Is OroborOSX different from oroborus available in fink? I'm going to be
ordering MATLAB/Simulink for my machine and will be facing this same issue
in the near future.

Not sure what to do here. I was going to try out the bc package, but doing
'fink install bc' failed when it tried to create the .info manual file
because I hadn't already installed texinfo.
Do I send mail to Sylvain Cuaz, the bc package maintainer, or to someone
else to have them tweak the bc pa
