After I installed 10.2 Bash broke and would not rebuild. I rebuilt readline and then rebuilt Bash again, which works fine now. I don't know if this is enough of an indicator that readline is ok. On Saturday, August 24, 2002, at 06:32 PM, Dr. Paul Fons wrote: > It was my understanding that

Anybody discovered the nifty shortcut to the darkside? It's referred to in System Preferences->Universal Access. Just press Ctrl-Opt-Command-* and the screen becomes black on white. Well, this seems to affect XDarwin when it's running. It seems okay to use this command when in the

[Fink-users] man pages not working

Hi all, First off, thanks for everything guys. I just updated to Mac OS 10.2 and did a few "fink update all"s. Now tcsh doesn't work the way it used to, and the aliases are gone, but I suspect that's Mac OS X's fault. More importantly, for some reason "man" doesn't work anym

Well, I'm having even greater problems. I can hide everything and the window from X will remain and I can't hide it. I also have troubles with shift-click changing some mode in X. Sometimes it seems to lock shift down, sometimes control. I finally realized it's probably a feature I need to disabl

I thought I was crazy! I've been using xfree86-rootless from stable (version 4.2.0-2), and sometimes I cannot move windows. I think it's a window layering problem, i.e. XFree86 thinks the window is behind another, but I don't know why it would be a problem on Mac OS X. -Daniel On Sun, 25 Aug 2

I think the bug is in xfree86 (or in my mind) because windows get stuck in windowmaker as well. What fun. -- Hisashi T Fujinaka - [EMAIL PROTECTED] BSEE (6/86) + BSChem (3/95) + BAEnglish (8/95) + $2.50 = mocha latte --- This sf.net email i
