Hey there,
I've been doing a clean upgrade to tiger, even throwing my fink away. It
was a bit of a problem to do that on the 29th but good packages are
being sent in hourly and the situation does improve all the time. Thanks
for the great work you maintainers!
However, I do still have several

Hello,
I just wanted to say that I use apple's emacs and fink's xemacs,
and have no problem with any of them (though I use emacs seldom).

That was the case for me for some time, as well, but at one point it
simply became impossible to upgrade emacs through fink. I started with
Jaguar, and then upgraded to Panther and never changed my fink
directory, so maybe something strange carried over, but suffice it to
say that once the
Hi
I've recently installed vim from fink in tiger and am unable to type #
in gvim, vim in a terminal is fine. Instead of #, using Alt-3 as, I
get a superscript 3. This makes coding quite difficult as you can
imagine.
Any ideas whats causing this? I'm using the Monospace font in gvim.
Cheers

I think something failed earlier. As soon as my version of 10.4 arrives,
I'll try to fix it. It's been a stage IV-B glioma of a headache for every
single update, so I'm not particularly suprised. Email me
FYI, I just attempted a reinstall on my other PowerBook, and discovered that not

Dominique,
I think evolution depends on gnutls only through libsoup-ssl.
Did you try rebuilding that one after gnutls ? It seems your
libsoup-ssl still depends on synbols from a previous version..

Hi,
by accident I removed gnucash after upgrading to tiger. Since my /sw-
directory was a bit messy, I simply deleted it and then reinstalled
fink. Everything with the reinstall went fine, except for gnucash.
I now get the following error message:
pd956b79d:~ hesk$ sudo fink install
I realize this may not be the right forum for this question, but since
my other attempts at resolving this issue has failed I'm going to
give it a shot here.
I'm using Subversion and apache2 and since a few weeks,
everytime I do a commit it fails with a db fatal error message - run

I am also having trouble with gnucash on Tiger. I am running fink

At this point I am stymied since I see no obvious equivalent and I

This may well be the case.
Any suggestions since i see I am not the only one having problems with
