Greetings,
In my continued attempts to install sawfish under Tiger, I've run
into another snag. I get the following error message while trying to
install gconf-1.0.9-22
bdb.c:336: error: static declaration of 'get_dir_id' follows non-
static declaration
bdb.h:159: error: previous declaration
Sorry for any duplicates, I sent this from the wrong address the
first time.

I had a problem switching to cvs from rsync, so I blew away /sw
and started again from bootstrap. I ran:
bootstrap.sh

But then the error you have been getting should have been impossible
with any kind of installation.
Actually, I see now in the gnome-libs build log what is going on. It is
actually a bug in gnome-libs that goes away if one

Hi,
I have installed Tiger and reinstalled fink from scratch.
I'm using Gerben Wierda tex distribution.
I've tried to install lilypond.
I chose system-tetex when fink asked me.
The install went fine.
However, it broke latex. And lilypond doesn't work.

Hi,
I am having trouble installing ghc-6.2-2 from fink unstable on 10.4
The build phase ends with:
/sw/src/ghc-6.2-2/ghc-6.2/../ghc-bootstrap/bin/ghc -pgmP gcc -E -traditional
-I/sw/include -L/sw/lib -H16m -O -I/sw/include -L/sw/lib -pgmP gcc3 -E
-traditional -cpp -DPKG_TOOL -DWANT_PRETTY
For your information, too, in case someone would like to test:
I've added Fink packages (OS X apt-get'ish installation system) to
LuaForge. The packages are pending for approval from the Fink
gatekeepers, but it wouldn't hurt to get some early feedback.
To recap:
- Hamster is a Lua-based make

I have no time now to find out how to fix this in the gnome-libs info
file, so if someone else wants to do it, it would be appreciated.
