Adding onto a recent thread, I'm running into the same
precise problem upon running gv. Details as follows:
Arch: Dual G5
OS:10.3.9
Today, I did a completely clean install of fink, completely swiping
/sw and starting from scratch. I'm using fink/apt-get with fink
commander interface.
