A couple of things: Did you set up your environment as in the fink faq
for compiling packages yourself (i.e. setting env variables in your
.cshrc)? I kinda doubt you did or it would have seen gtk+2 and gtkspell
would have seen the parts of aspell it needs. Did you look at the fink
