Hi - for anyone interested I posted a variant of gnotepad+ on the tracker.
why?
about 5 years ago my main workstation was running a linux distro with
Gnome 1.x (sorry I never liked KDE). when I upgraded to an ibook I was
lucky enough to find the Fink project. I was however unwilling to run
anythin
as discussed some time ago I never heard back from the listed maintainer of
fluxbox. I have now uploaded an up-to-date .info file in the tracker - please
check it out.

Now how do I use Gnome2, practicaly? surely launching 'gnome-session' with X will
start up the regular flavour without benefiting from the extras libraries??? Is
Metacity the only wm available to me if I want to run a Gnome 2 environment?
