a little update on paraview/mpi. I have now tested the openmpi version, and it
behaves much better (but not completely right). For simple visualizations
(surface, ..) it works fine in parallel.
However, it opens an additional OpenGL window for this, apparently to

thanks for building the paraview-mpi packages. I have just tested the lammpi
one. It compiles and builds fine and starts up properly. However when I try to
use it in parallel on some real data via
lamboot -v
lam-mpirun -np 2 /sw/bin/paraview
I get the following:
