I like the Renegades, but they do not make boots for horses with big feet. I
just ordered a pair of Easyboot Gloves for my horse, which appear to be much
easier to deal with than the Easyboot Epics.
HOWEVER, Easycare is coming out with a NEW boot that is su

Hello list! Willi Fjord had a check up today. He is doing well. His shoe and
plate came off for x rays, and everything is looking good. We have been
upgraded from handwalking to turnout in 12'x12' corral panels. May not seem
like much but for a boy who normally does NOT

It seems you and WIlli are over the hump - yay! Is there any way to
maybe "hide" the Bio-sponge in some applesauce? When I've had to use
nasty tasting drugs w/Cass the applesauce has been the trick w/just a
touch of yogurt. Last Dec. she was on 2 diffe

I didn't get the most recent Willi update. He's doing well I hope?
I think he must still be with the vet. Hows his "mom" doing, I know she'd
come down sick right after he'd had the surgery.

Hey Kathy,
I know it must be immensely horrible for the poor guy to be chugging
Bio-Sponge daily (yeah, it's like asking someone to pease eat & swallow a
whole bowl of clay, yuk!) but I am sure he is doing it as a gastric
preventative bc he's on the HD antibi

Congratulations on Willi's ongoing recovery.

Hi all. Willi is doing very well! The hole in his hoof is all pink and filling
in. The bandage changes are getting easier, although I think it will be quite
some time before I can do it by myself.

Hi everyone. We had a good day. Willi got his hospital plate and walks quite
well with it. He was bearing good weight on it. The infection had 3 types of
bacteria in it all treatable with the inexpensive tablets 12 twice a day. Can't
remember the name. I saw the new tiss

You might consider Soft Ride boots if he needs cushioning.

Well, good and bad news. Wm Fjord had a visit from a different vet today. He
has a benign tumor called a Keratoma on his (coffin?) bone. Not sure of the
bone, sure of the tumor. It has been a surreal afternoon. Anyway, he is having
surgery on Tuesday to remove the tumor.
