I am just and plainly seeking ideas and help
Naively, I thought the OS would handle this case ...of course it
doesn't, because it depends on the computer's capacity to load a 2
gig FLV in memory ...which is quite weak normally

I get the same results whether CacheAsBitmap is turned on or not.
Great idea to unload / reload as they come on / off the screen! Will do
that one right away.

I cant work out how I did it, as whatever I import its either a bitmap
or fireworks folder. (when i'm looking at flash assetts).

bitrates of MP3s, but 16k/mono is one of the options for
exporting, so I would expect that it would be able to handle loading
them as well. Is there a list of what bitrates are supported
somewhere? Google isn't giving me any love.
