For both phone and cw operation, being able to use the Panadapter mode

For phone operation, it's sometimes nice to be able

All,
I currently use DX4Win for all logging with a 2 radio setup. Radio #1 is
SDR, Radio #2 is FT-920. The DX4Win psk program also works in this setup
using the MixW virtual serial ports. I also use Digipan for PSK, MMTTY
for RTTY, and IZ8BLY's Hellschreiber program. I had to tailor the cat

A few further comments on the subject:
1) We were unable to recreate this problem in the lab under any conditions
using a cleanly loaded Dell computer and Delta 44 sound card with a radio of
the same vintage as yours.
2) I am not aware of any other reports of this specific problem. We were

Hi all,
Is there a simple way to go from unbalanced to
balanced hi bandwidth audio between the SDR and inputs 1/2 of the break-out
box?
Joe
After a bit of repair and upgrading at Flex-Radio Central, I just fired
up my radio (with amp and tuner) today, and actually talked to someone
on 20 SSB!
I'm using a D44 card without an external mic preamp, and at the moment
just a cruddy hand mike I had around that happened to be wired to work

Fantastic!
The foundation is essential to avoid the recent Who Moved my Cheese!
thread.:
We are
going to talk about the foundations that will easily allow all of that
to be done.
Is essential!
So is CVS! (When?)
Thanks for the dedication, from all of you!

All,
I posted a poll on the forum to try to get a feel for what
Kudos to all who worked on this version. Much better performance than
1.3.12. I note the same problem with this version as the last on cw
using the new keyer. When in CWU the frequency transmitted is about 1.4
khz low. It is correct in CWL. When you change to CWL the keyer goes
awry with
I concur. CWL on 40M is O.K. as soon as I select CWU I
get the high speed distortion (motorboating?) and the
only way to clear it is to quit the console and restart
it.

I was listening on 7.076 and trying to get CAT to work
with MixW (it was working yesterday with 1.3.12) but no
joy. When I UNCLICKED CAT I got an immediate exception.
See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

Digi mode ops: beware of MIC GAIN setting. It is
defaulted to 50 which severely overdrives using
my previous LINE OUT settings for MixW and 1.3.12.
I found that a setting of 30 gives IMD 28,
but MIC GAIN settings 30 quickly drop IMD to -17db
(using external KK7UQ IMD monitor).

For some reason I still see ALC in the TX Meter menu.
When I select it I see a value -1.0 using MixW PSK31.
I thought ALC was gone all together?

The TRANSMIT HIGH FILTER setting will not go below
2000. For PSK work I have used 1500 on my other rigs to
be sure I had no bad audio harmonics getting out :-)
I wonder if it would be possible to lower the HIGH
setting to 1500.
thanks,

I haven't confirmed it on 1.3.13 yet, but I have noted that going from
