Ken, Gary, I turned the equalizer on and levelled out the power settings and it now behaves like it should. I need to experiment with the Mic In Gain on the Audio Tab in setup so that I can find a happy medium between voice and psk. 73, Dale AA5XE [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: Thanks, Ken.  Act

Larry, I am using the basic 100w SDR. Power for digital modes should be set for around 25 watts because of the high duty cycle. I got the power leveled out at 25 watts on the meter using the Transmit Equalizer. My power setting is at 35 watts. 73, Dale AA5XE Larry Loen wrote: Dale Richardson

Thanks, Ken.  Actually, I found that I had the equalizer on.  The transmit filter is 150-3000, so its OK.  Turning the equalizer off made it behave better.  I probably used different PSK offset frequencies in the different bands resulting in the variation.  Also, I note that CPDR really  has

No, there is something you need to turn OFF :-) John UNclick (deselect) the NEW KEYER in the DSP TAB and that will enable the old keyer. Ken [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote: I can't get on CW with 1.3.13. It's not highlighted. Is there something I need to turn on? JOHN w5gi -

Gary, Try setting the Setup > Transmit [Transmit Compression] Compand slider to '0', and then engage the CPDR button on the console. It looks to me like engaging the CPDR button significantly reduces IMD, even without any Companding action. Don't know if it's supposed to work that way, or if i

Some quick comments on 1.3.13.  It certainly seems to have punch in SSB!  Wow!  Can't wait to get a good mike so I can really try it.   On the digital PSK side, I find that it is very sensitive to input drive level, unlike the previous versions.  If I overdrive the SDR, the IMD suffers, unlik
