I think I'll opt for the version with SMT parts already glued down too.
My old eyeballs are getting such that SMT is no fun!

Eric - I am a DX chaser. Many DXCC entities seem to
only be available on CW running at 20 - 35 WPM. I am typically running DX

Pentium 3 computer.
My problem is that when running at 20 WPM the first CW

It is not just you SDR-1000 radio. As with previous versions of PowerSDR

Hello all!
I tried the demo more than a year ago without success (I donĀ“t remember
the details) and today again I downloaded the current version, and
found that while SDR s/w seems to accept this driver as a valid audio
card, in the other tail of the cord, HRD Psk31 Deluxe gives an alarm
John:
It is very very good news indeed that you're able to run the SDR-1000 on
that machine. Please select low resolution clock and try it again with
1.4.4 and also please try the serial com port keyer coming with 1.4.4.

Actually, this is probably never going to work and likely should be
abandoned before anyone further attempts to work it.
We are feeding 48000 samples per second floating point numbers out.
There is no provision in VAC for sample rate or sample encoding to be
changed that I am aware of.
Title: Delta 66 Sound card
Tim,
The Delta 66 works exactly like the Delta
44 with the current software.
Meaning it uses the 4 analog in/outputs and leaves the digital cables
alone (this is based on conversations with K2WS). You could modify the software fairly
easily to use the digital
Soundcards support many formats, 16 bit 8000 Hz is a basic format and is all
that is needed for PSK31, anything more is overkill. HRD and WinWarbler use
the same core software for PSK31 send / receive.

I agree both Bob and Simon.
I think we must wait until Phil or other gifted programmer find a
solution and time to implement it

I'm looking for (inexpensive) multichannel audio interfaces that can handle
6 or 8 simultaneous signals, preferably with synchronous clocking. The
Delta 44 does 4 channels, I think. Is there something that does 8?

Hi gang,
I have a brand new M-Audio Delta 44 sound card and the Griffin Powermate VFO

The AudioScience http://www.audioscience.com interfaces (high-quality

have at least 4 playback streams; a number of them have 8 simultaneous

I'm having a little trouble understanding 4 in - 4 outs. The mic
output, 2 wires from an 1/8 3 connection jack is going to 2 1/4
phonos? So the tip on each of the phonos is either side of the mic
element and the shields are common. I guess I don't understand why
this is using 2 channels?

After a dumb period, finally got SDR on CW with both the USB and serial
port. Dunno if the pinouts are correct but it works with the pin numbers
given. Think I have a slight preference for serial, however, have not had
enough time on the paddles. IT is SWEET sending/sounding CW
Only one item actually. I would really like to see true

from the sound card being sent and a bit easier on the finals
I think. Just a thought but then again I've been listening to
diddles for a looong time :).
