To the N1MM powers that be,
While I have developed a procedure that allows N1MM key closures to be
transferred to PowerSDR via vCOM's DTR/RTS signals, it is not an
efficient way to go. After all N1MM must generate accurate toggles of
DTR, then PowerSDR must interpret them and generate accurate

To the N1MM powers that be,
Fortunately there is another alternative which works for both Kenwood and
FlexRadio rigs. This is to send ASCII characters via the Kenwood KY
command over the CAT interface.

Does anyone know anything about the computer
interface on the Kenwood TS-430S?
I've been searching for years and can't find
any info about the commands, or any software
for it.

All of the Kenwood rigs use the same CAT command set. Some of the newer
rigs have new commands that are not used by the older rigs, but that is not
a problem. The TS-430S would simply ignore a command it didn't recognize.
Therefore, any software that will control a Kenwood rig, will
The reason that most transceiver control applications let you simply specify
Kenwood is that Kenwood transceivers all identify their model numbers when
responding to an ID command, enabling the application can determine the
model number on its own.

Hello,
I have been using the new Flex-5000 and loving it!
However, I also have a TS2000 and an IC7000. Can the Power SDR be used
with either one of these radios?
Thank you.
