I had the driver problem for the Delta-44 soundcard under Vista here too. I
copied the Deltapnl.dll to the Flexradio directory and everything worked fine.
Perform a new calibration in any case.
Good luck

Thanks for the comments about image calibration, it was one thing I had not
redone.
For the last couple of evenings down here in Auckland I am copying a signal
that covers from approx 14.090 to 14.104, it occurs every 30 seconds
and last about 1-2 seconds. Strength over 9.
It is very broad, and
Thanks to everyone who sent emails and some pictures of your audio set up.
That was all very helpful to see what some of you are doing to get that
fantastic sound out of that flex. So far by rearranging a few items and adding
a few more ferrites and adding a ground to the FA-66 DUH. It seems
Hi,
The 5000 control panel program has a Sample Rate Lock Mode box that
allows selection of a number of settings. Can someone explain what
these settings do and why I'd want to select one or the other.
There's also an Enable WDM Audio checkbox. What is WDM and what does it do?
Is there a
Hi Folks,
I've uploaded a video of my panadaptor which shows a mysterious spur that I am
unable to remove (in most cases) with spur reduction. It occurs mainly on Lower
Side Band. I've heard the tone on previous versions as well but it is normally
buried in the noise. The radio is connected
Ed,
You will have to remind us the details on the
signal you are seeing.. In Rec or
transmit? Is it in the passband? Is it on all
bands? And how about in General coverage, does it change?

Hi Bill,
Far as I can tell, I don't have the problem with SVN: 1875.
What I do have a problem with (not a bug, but an improvement) is that
when I change bands Preamp, and AF gain don't change to match. If your
radio comes up on a specific band at each startup, you could see what you
describe.
Hi Dudley,
I thought it would be easier if I set up a video. It is in the receive
passband, all bands. I did not check general coverage. Take a look and see if
you get a chance. Thanks for your input!!

One more question...is there any change to the spur's frequency if you
change sample rates? (E.g. try 48 KHz, 96KHz, etc.)

Great video! (I have to say, the combined panadapter/waterfall display

I just checked my radio (an SDR1000, too) at the same frequencies you
showed, and I have no spurs.
What's interesting about your video is that, in addition to the main
spur,
Hi Ross,
I hear and see the same signal here too, same frequency and time (12hour
off from ZL)
I was alredy wondering where the signal comes from as it jamed some
Olivia qso's.
The signal is about S5 to S7.
A other intersting thing, I was able to copy here on my 5.5 m long
vertical antenna
I see many notes talking about a higher number svn then what I am using. I
have a SDR 1K and if I download the SVN right now in the log it shows 1893.
When I use it then it shows beta 1.10.4 SVN: 1826.
Am I doing something wrong?

You are not doing anything wrong. Not all SVN updates are committed to the
PowerSDR branch (where the code is). If I update a document and check it in to
SVN, the SVN number increments, but it does not change the SVN number shown in
the PowerSDR executable since it was not modified.

Hi Dan,
several people have run PowerSDR using Parallels on the Mac
(www.parallels.com). If you look at the mailing list archive you should
be able to find some info on this.
I have been working on a Java GUI that uses sdr-core (the DSP code) that
runs native on the Mac and Linux.
I have it

Nice video, a picture truly is worth a 1000 words. See my observations

I see and hear the exact same thing that you do and as demonstrated in your
video.
I'm also using the SDR1000 with an Eridol FA66, SVN 1801 at 96khz
I see and hear the spurs only when on the dummy load!(as you
Based on the video, I would guess that it is an audio issue (as opposed to
some kind of RF). This is verified when you turned SR off and changed bands
and it didn't move a bit.
Note that turning on SR simply does the final mixing in DSP, rather than the
hardware. So I would expect the tone to
I am using my MacBook Pro to run my Flex-5000. I had little problem
installing BootCamp and XP SP2. Once that was done, everything worked.
I have not been able to run at a sample rate of 192Khz, but 96KHz
works well, and 48KHz even better. Been using it every day since my
big XP machines
