Bruce,
Here's an empirically determined procedure that I've found to be
successful in resolving the periodic Error communicating with
FLEX-5000A startup error:
-- Get your FLEX-5000A running at 96KHz, along with PowerSDR.
-- Stop PowerSDR and close it down.
-- For the remaining steps make

I have the SDR-5000. If I press CTRL-SHIFT-P and run tests, is it

Hi Dave,
It happens. I think Eric has put in code that will make it retry any
failed tests after all other tests have been completed, but I'm not 100%

them just for those failed bands. You'll probably find that they work
Hi
Quick question.. I will be using a sony vaio??? P4@ 2.8 with 1.5 gh memory.
Just did a fresh install of windows xp.The computer will not do any thing, but
run the 5000a. Will this computer be enought to handle the 5000a?or should I be
thinking about a upgrade.
thanks

Hi Dale
I'm running a Sony VAIO, 1.8 GHz, P4 with 2 G memory. PowerSDR 1.10
series with Firebox on SDR1K runs 20 to 30%; should be the same on
Flex5K. Memory helps, but 1.5G should be enough. Watch your
security software; mine sometimes run 60%+. Best keep off internet
and don't run any.
Hi guys
Last summer I wrote a small program that used virtual com ports that
allowed me to simulate a virtual Y cable so I could connect PowerSDR
to a logging program and at the same time connect my steppir
controller for auto band/frequency tuning.
I am going to re-write it (I think I can

Does anyone know how the scroll wheel circuit operates in a Logitech
