It sounds like neither a bug or a feature to me. Just a level calibration
issue. Use that handy generator to calibrate the level and it will set the
meter and the display level appropriately.

I have found the keymap settings useful for most of the functions I want, but
cannot get the AF gain settings ("-" and "+") to work, and do not even find any
settings for AGC-T level. Anyone know the keystrokes for tthese functions?
Thanks.

On PowerSDR v1.10.4, when the receiver (SDR1000) was tuned to a CW
signal from a generator set at -70 dBm, the RX signal meter would
read -70 dBm and the Panadapter would show the peak of he signal
very close to -70. In versions 12.0 and 12.1, doing the same thing
gives an RX signal mete

Allow me to set the record straight:
The truth of this matter is that when we coded the per-band settings for the
FLEX-5000, we DID implement this feature for all hardware models (SDR-1000
included). However, there was an outcry from the SDR-1000 folks that were
doing the testing at the time when
David,
Regarding your DSP NR crackling - try reducing your AF gain. If the
crackling decreases, then what you're probably experiencing is due to
the DSP math causing the audio to exceed its maximum allowable limits -
at least, this is my explanation for the phenomena (which I've

Greetings Gents,
As I am not as tech saavy as most of the gents participating in this
discussion. I was wondering if someone could explain the benefits of "dedicated
I/Q settings per band". I operate my radio daily and it seems to work fine
without this feature. I'm all for making the SDR1000

This would be a good feature; I've just made installations of 2nd receiver
(SDR IQ) along with alignment feature (XG2) in a cabinet with the SDR
1000. It would be nice to have this possibility; I could then look into
adding more bands (Frequencies) to the XG2 PCB with a front mounted
selection swit
I believe that it has been pointed out that those people who are interested
in multiband image compensation for the SDR1K do not expect an automated
procedure but would do it manually. A signal for every band should be
available for most of us.
