Thanks for making the changes Dave I saw your post last night and was able to download your latest MMTTY code with the VAC support I needed. Got it working with Ham Scope and was able to do RTTY for the first time with my SDR1k & Ham Scope. Thanks again! Dennis, k0eoo - Original Me

Can someone give me the setup details to transmit CW using DBM in Ham Radio Deluxe? I've got it receiving Fine Business, but can't seem to figure out how to get it to transmit. If I use PTT in the setup, it will key the transmitter. I have the Input set to virtual cable #2 with VAC and out to cab

"Automatic Rate Tuning" Acceleration is a great idea, a pleasure to use and rather exclusive feature... How about the acronym "ART" Tuning. I had a commerical H.F. analog radio that had the feature.. I don't recall the model but I think it was a Harris. Perhaps Yaesu had that feature in a few mod

Late 70's - ICOM IC-211 2m all-mode. Counterweighted tuning knob with optical interrupter tuning and a mechanical "band brake" for knob tension. Turn it slowly, and it tunes at the selected tuning speed rate. Spin the knob fast and the band brake releases, the tuning rate increases to maximum fo

Hi Dan Nice to see StarBand is still in business. Trying to talk XYL into remote area. It would seem that a variable speed tuning system could be a software feature. After all we can move the mouse fast of slowly now. It's still an issue of accuracy As Mr. Earp said: "Fast is good, but accu

My Icom IC-910H has that feature. It is called "automatic tuning step" function and can be enabled or disabled. When the knob is turned faster, the tuning step value increases. Jim K5HY > From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > To: flexradio@flex-radio.biz > Date: Sun, 31 Aug 2008 14:23:39 -0500 > Subject

I'm not a contester, so maybe I don't understand the scenario, but ... How can 'dialing' - with any type of knob control - toward a target signal seen on a high resolution panadapter like that of PSDR, possibly be faster or more efficient than just clicking on the desired signal with a mouse?

Dale The problem is 'FOCUS'. In order to use the mouse for frequency adjustment A contester must take his hands off the keyboard, grab the mouse, and then move it to the PWSDR panadaptor, take time to precisely place the centerline, and then click a mouse. While this may only take a sec or two...
