May be a little exestensial but..
If a signal report is given (READ: transmitted), it CAN'T be fake.
It could be 'inaccurate', It could be 'meaningless', but it COULDN'T be

In all honesty, you should really create your own profile and configure it for
your own specific style and ear. You can start with any default setting, but I
really like to start from scratch.
The only way to really do this is by listening to yourself in a second receiver
(not the RX2).
The US state/county score is important for what reason?
This score you speak of, do you learn about another place, speak to a ham and
learn his likes and dislikes or any lessons from him?
Typing is good.
I have no clue how to answer your question, others are better qualified unless

Why does it matter? If he enjoys it and wants to do it, then he needs no
other reason. I know of no requirement that he provide you with
justification for his preferences. Personally, I can't stand football. I
don't see that it serves any purpose and the scores seem completely

re: Contest signal reports.
Every contest where the required exchange includes a signal report has the same
issue. No one gives out real reports. But something else is usually required,
like a zone, a state, an ARRL section, or a grid square, like in the Stu Perry
160 meter CW contest. Of

RST is subjective and not particularly meaningful anyway. If you think
about it, if the signal is strong enough for you to get the
