Zack, I used the same setup as you. I couldn't get the PTT on the microphone to work. The problem was that I had the Heil adaptor cable plugged into the 5000 incorrectly. There was no key on the connector, so it would plug in in any direction. Once I got the pins lined up correctly it worked f
