Hi Guys,
Just wanted to ask a couple of transverter questions if I may,
1 - what is the general rx/tx range of a 2m transverter? or do they all
drastically vary
2 - is there much drift with newer generation transverters?
My goal (unsure if realistic or not) is to get entire 2m 144-148Mhz

You might want to look athttp://www.ssbusa.comto get some
general ideas. The problem (it's not really an unsolvable problem)
with covering the entire scope of one of our ultra-wide VHF/UHF bands is
that the IF device, typically at 28 MHz, has to cover that range. This
Look into the ICE BCB filters. Many have had good results with them

What in the hardware side of the Flex 3000 and 1500 prevents the radio from
transmitting below 28MHz or above 29.7MHz? for circuit blocks such as low
pass filters, these can probably be bypassed?
I know rules-is-rules, but when interfacing with a transverter, its
perfectly okay to have an IF of
A fellow flexer using an SDR1000 and Windows 7 told me that if he slides his
filter from LSB to USB he is able to hear USB signals on USB clearly. I tried
it with mine, using WinXP and did not experience this. Has anyone else see seen
this?
I wrote a week or so ago about problems I was having with WSPR and
Mack, WB4MAK, replied with his settings.
First, my original problem was that WSPR could not set the frequency
and that PTT via CAT was somewhat unreliable. The main symptom was
that every time WSPR tried to set the frequency, key,
I just upgraded to the Logitech MX 1100 mouse and am having a small issue in
PSDR. When I drag the main display window to change the frequency or use the
spin wheel in the window there is a noticeable hesitation instead of a
smooth flow of the window. I know it has something to with the mouse

If I understand well, you mean select mode LSB, shift the filter to the
right to the position where the USB filter roughly should be and
listening for example in 20 m, he hears the USB signals clearly? Well,
of course, this is true, it can be verified by anyone regardless the
