There seems to be lots of suggestions for the BobSmeter.
How about the Tmate thru DDUtil?
I went through the whole process of changing to DDUtil and VSPManager and
DXLabs only to find that I could not get Tmate to run and DXlabs was not to
my liking, HRD and DDUtil don't have a great love affair, w
It also looks like you can change the S-Meter polling rate using the
BobSMeter Setup menu. On the "System" tab you can set the "Timer/CAT
Interval" to a value in the range 1 to 500 (milliseconds, I assume). The
default value is 20.

Please check in the knowledge base on the the following article
Setting Up PowerSDR with a DDUtil and BobSMeter
I have it work with BobS Meter and HamRadioDeluxe
WO2X did a great job in the write-up
PS it works with 18.5

That does not surprise me. I suspect that the BobSMeter is polling the CAT
port at a much faster data rate than Commander and all that data is going
through DDUtil. I suspect that it isn't specific to your system, but it might
be.

Subject: [Flexradio] Question on Flex-5000
Tim,
I tried changing polling on DDutil and that does not help the problem.
I shut down BobSMeter and started DX Labs Commander on RCP1.
Commander works like a charm on RCP1 with no delay issues. I shut down
commander and start up BobSMeter on RCP1 and I have nothing but delay
problems. Even DDu
Hi Folks:
I'm about to buy a Steppir antenna to go with my FLex-5000. This used to be
a pretty simple matter where you just placed an order for the antenna you
wanted. Now they seem to be offering an array of transceiver interfaces
(none that specifically mention FLEX, though) and upgraded contr

DDUtil *IS NOT* a real time system. It can't respond instantaneously to the
radio as it polls the radio for data every nnn ms as set by the Poll
Interval on the Ports menu. You'll never be happy with the performance of
this meter when working through DDUtil. It needs to be connected directly to

Remember that rather than having just one program sending CAT commands via
PowerSDR's CAT port, now you have multiple CAT enabled programs using the CAT
port. Your computer's "speed" is much faster than a serial port, so the issue
is not your computer. You could try reducing the poll interval
I have been running the BobSMeter successfully paired directly with the
SDR cat port.
The meter is very quick and very accurate. Thank you
Beppe IK3VIG!!!
When I set it up with DDutil as the KB states the
meter is very very slow acting...like
it is not polling fast enough. Running a 5K with Wi
