Hunter, a friend of mine, W5QI, is a Flex-3000 newbie. He also was
concerned with the CW problems using v2.0.8. He solved the problem by
plugging an old MFJ CW keyer into his Flex. Says it will work fine until
Flex fixes the problem.
He's tickled pink over his 3000.

Point well taken Mike.
Sorry for the generalization.
I do realize it is Beta - I guess I am just anxious to get the official release
since I have really enjoyed the Flex experience.
Prior to the 3000, I used the same rig for 17 years - my trusty FT-1000. I did
quite a bit of research before s
Ditto here!
I'm very pleased with CW using PowerSDR 1.18.6 I have tried the new "beta"
PowerSDR V2.0 and subsequent updates with unsatisfactory CW keying and I
reverted back. The V2.0 is beta software and I'm sure they are working to
improve CW performance. I look forward to the other features an

Hunter, Like I've posted in the past many times, PSDR 2. is beta, you have

Looking for comments on VFO tuning knobs. I would like a free spinning

Please note: I am not looking for comments about why you do not like a

Pete,
Kind of sounds like you are getting RF into the computer, most of these
computers are not designed to operate in a RF rich environment. . You
might start adding some ferrites to the FireWire cable just before it goes
to the computer, Type 31 ferrites seem to be the best, but others may

I find that my 3000 is very susceptible to RFI even at 100 watts, so it's
very plausible that your issues are RF-related. Check your coax/tuner/etc
for problems and add snap-on cores wherever you can to eliminate the
problem, and see if that helps. Also try the amp into a dummy load and see
