I have a question on connecting an external transverter, running 2.0.16
with a FLEX-5000 ...
I have a DB6NT transverter (1296MHz -- 28MHz) with 'spilt IF' so I
connected the RX IF from the transverter to XVRX and the XVTX with the
IF TX port of the transverter.
In the PowerSDR 2.0.16 I
A new version of the SDRDataTransfer utility setup data is available. The
setup data date stored in the file was not correct.

We have confirmed there is an antenna routing matrix issue with 2.0.16.
This happened when we added the VU5K support software. It only occurs once
the VU5K is installed. We have identified the issue and are working through
the solution for the next release.

Anyone out there using WSPR with their 5K? Any suggestions on setup or is it
obvious, although nothing is obvious on a Windows PC to the long-time Mac
user :)? I noticed that in the list of radios supported by WSPR only
includes the Flex 1K.

I've used WSPR on my Flex-3K., should be the same on 5K. It's pretty
much the same as using any other digital mode 3rd party software through
VAC and VSPMgr. If you haven't done digital at all yet, I'd recommend
setting up something else - PSK or RTTY first, since it will me much
faster to see

FYI, I've run WSPR several times overnight with no blue-screens. OTOH,
my PC was running PSDR today and the screen froze, and now it won't boot
anymore, so maybe I used up all the karma. Sigh. /Jack

I just finished some RF testing of my Flex-1500s millihertz VFO accuracy,
using the following equipment:
* HP 3325A Signal Generator (millihertz resolution) locked to
a ThunderBolt GPSDO 10MHz reference
* Flex-1500 with IF= 0 Hz, Spur Reduction = Off, CWU Pitch =
600

I am using the Kuhne TR1296H with my Flex-5000
Cables are set like this
TR1296H IF TX Flex XVTXCOM
TR1296H IFRX(TX) Flex XVRX
Then make sure the TR1296H is setup for seperate TX/RX cable and SW inside
transverter is correct.
In the Flex, you dont use the Antenna Selection menu.
3. Should I try adjusting the PowerSDR DDS Clock Offset? I have found
that it is still active even though I have checked the box that I am using an
external 10 MHz clock reference.
Yes. If your external clock is not DEAD ON 10.0 MHz, you may need to adjust
the DDS offset. Using my LPRO
