Ed, I use an Acom 2000A that is also a low drive Amp with a Flex 5000A using

I still find the spike there even configuring my audio chain properly and
watching the ALC but as Tim mentions it is much improved in the current Beta

Called to order a 1500 today at around 12:40 EST and got voicemail!
Then it occurred to me that the Winter weather may have hit them. Anyone
know what the deal is?
I was told via E-mail about a week ago that they had 1500's in stock
and would continue to for the next couple of weeks but I'm

I just got an e-mail from Gerald saying that it is 23 deg in Austin thy=ey

I use an (elderly) Alpha 78 linear amp with my Flex system. When I started
out using the Flex 5000a with v2.0.8 I found it helpful to have an
oscilloscope monitoring my output waveform and have a trapezoid pattern
available as well.
To get those displays, I purchased the Splatter-View 2K kit

This is getting frustrating. Matt returned my call but I had stepped
out to go get tires on my truck so he got my message machine. Now I have
left two more voice mails, one at the sales line and one at Matt's
extension and I can't get anyone to call me back. It's fine if the
weather keeps
Well, after never receiving another call back today, I assume the
weather has kept them away from work. I just broke down and placed an
online order. Matt had replied to an E-mail inquiry I made on 1/26 and
indicated they had the 1500 in stock and should continue to have for the
next couple
Michael,
Yes, we had ice and we live in the Texas Hill Country. Those two don't go
well together. I slid sideways down only a 20 degree grade and then decided
to walk back home. Fortunately the sun came out and several of us made it
in for the afternoon.
If you did not get through this
I would never assume that someone had to send something from the office
other than an actual phone call. With VOIP, even that can happen from
home. I get voice messages from work on my email account, which
includes the Blackberry.
I run on my companies email from home all the time, it call
Thanks for your response Gerald. We had the same kind of messy winter
weather here in Ga. a couple of weeks ago. I did receive a call back
from Matt once but unfortunately I had stepped out and he got my message
machine so we played phone tag. No worries, you and your employees

I'm working on standardizing my digital modes with FLDIGI and my logging

I had my F5k, PSDR v2.0.16, Rx1 tuned to 80 meters LSB with the 2.1k filter
selected, Rx2 tuned to 6 meters USB and the 2.4k filter selected. When I
switched VFO A B, I noticed that Rx2 now showed 80 meters LSB with the
filter now at 5.0k.
I then realized that Rx2 only has 9 filters versus
I'm using PowerSDR 2.0.16 with a 5000A. The manual says that the Disable
Monitor box, when checked, will disable the CW side tone generated by the
5000A. It does not -- even with this box checked, I'm still hearing the
rig's side tone in my headphones in addition to my external keyer's side
tone.
