The buffer is the buffer in the 'audio' tab that interfaces with the flexradio driver. If I reduce that to 512 and turn on NR I get a crackling. Although I must say the NR in this current and previous version is the best DSP I've yet come across in a radio. Which makes the crackling just so m

Dave, I think the NR is far more effective r on this version 2.0.22. Along with many other items. If you have audio crackling with the NR, many parameters can effect that. In addition to the settings of sample rate and buffer size for the firewire, try reducing the NR Taps in DSP Options.
