I would recommend that you sell it or return it if you can and use a
radio with good AM detection that does not need a computer. Good luck to
you and Merry Christmas.

I do not understand why when you remove something, it leaves all kinds of
stuff behind.
Why?
I know most programs do that, making any system slower and slower over time.
Some sort of clipping, or bad agc action as turning the agc off stops it, as
does turning the agc-t way down.

I am having a problem with losing audio after transmitting. It doesn't
happen each time, just when you need it the most. LOL It will reappear
after hitting tune. Is this something that I need to send the F5K back
for? I have reset the DB and even un-installed pwrsdr and reinstalled and

A couple things, Revo Uninstaller will find most program fragments
and get rid of them if you want a complete removal.
On the audio problem, have you run it through something like Audigy
to see if the "grunge" is visible? Hearing is one thing but a picture
will see clipping and other nasties, mi
Turning off Windows Search would not be your problem, all it does is make
searches a tiny bit slower. Everyone should turn it off as it can really
wreck PSDR on marginal systems.

My problem was likely that I had turned off windows explorer and search in
the services.
I have almost everything disabled in there since the computer just runs the
radio and does not go on the web.
When I first changed the firewire card, I had to disable it and enable it in
device manager, an

You just run the PowerSDR (integrated) installer selecting all of the
defaults unless you have a FlexControl, then you have to select it
manually. It has everything integrated into it to install the radio;
skins, Firewire & USB driver(s) and the PowerSDR executable.
If you run PowerSDR and yo

I had to have my Dell DuoCore XP computer operating system removed and

Now, I'm trying to get Power SDR 2.2.3 reinstalled.

Brett-- if you did a search for 'flex' and came up with nothing,
obviously your Explorer search is incomplete, not looking at all the
file types or in all the folders. I do that and get 150+ files,
including all the .dll's, manuals and other stuff I have loaded.
