My f3k runs at about 35c, when transmitting at high or low power it goes
to about 41c and the fan kicks on to a higher speed. Just wondering what
other f3k users are seeing.

Before blowing PowerSDR v2.7.2 away & re-installing, try a "Reset to Factory
Defaults". This sounds like a database corruption problem.
