I use the Proset Plus with the Yeasu adapter on my 5000A. It works just
fine. I also use the Heil hand switch with the PTT phono plug on the back
of the radio and that also works fine.

This is more than a treat, this is a psychological revelation to the
product. Changing the visual feel from time to time will make the interface
with the radio much more pleasing to the user. While that was always
possible, it was a challenge. We all get bored with our surroundings and
like to

Vista 64 needs 4 gig and Vista 32 needs 2 gig or it's going to be a slow,
frustrating go at just about anything.

I just wanted to thank all that are involved with v1.16.1 SDR. I installed
it yesterday on my laptop and it's working great. Realizing how much work
goes into creating and updating the software, it is a reminder of what a
great radio investment the 5000 series is.

Everything was looking like fun. I got another new computer to work with my
5000A with a little more processing speed and a bigger screen. Down side,
newer version of Vista and all of its updates flowing forth when I plugged in
the cable. Now it will not accept the drivers from Flex because
Thanks to the software developers for the improvements in SDR 1.14.0,
especially in the keyer cleanup from previous versions. I was at the point of
being run off the CW nets. This version seems to be running much better and I
am enjoying the panadapter improvements as well.

Is anyone getting a One time optimization message, 3-5 minutes, be patient
when they start up SDR 1.12.0? I've waited 2 hours; uninstalled it;
reinstalled it; and gotten the same routine all night. This is something right
out of the blue after it was working fine. I've scanned for virus' but
For whatever Vista is, it is. I have been running the last three versions
of Power SDR on it with no major problems, until the upgrades (for Vista
came along). Now the Version 1.12.0 is running well. I expect Vista to be
short lived. The question is, will MS pull a machine upgrade trick so

As a customer and basically an appliance operator, I think that the great
appeal of the Flex radios is a break away from the status quo of boxed,
this is it radios. Having made that great understatement, that is what
starts the consumer, Joe Ham, into the I must have this mentality that

Maybe someone can help me with this one...
I have a new Flex 5000A, using Vista and 2 megs of RAM with no problems there.
I have had to set the buffers at 1024 and sample rate at 192000 to get the
audio to work properly. I cannot get away with running any lower setting on
the buffers.
Now
Howdy to the Group...
I have a question about RAM in the computer using a Flex 5000A. I am expecting
the box to show up from UPS soon and I am hoping to use an Intel Duo Core
running at 2 gig with 2 gig of RAM to run the PowerSDR 1.0.3 + drivers By the
way, I bought this computer for this
