I'm either going to get the the 3000 or 5000and I have a
question on the 5000 it says it comes with its own built in sound
card so I dont have to get a sound card
Is the 3000 the same? Well they both do PSK31 and all of the other
digital modes?

Jim,
I understand the complexity you describe and in the past, have
pondered what could be done to fix the problem. Today when reading

surprise frequency change problem is most prevalent

The current Flex driver installed on 32 bit Windows 7 and PowerSDR installed
too, but when starting up PowerSDR it would not talk to the 5K.
I attempted to run as administrator without success.

I too tried with Windows 7.
I even tried installing with administrator privileges and also in XP SP2
compatibility mode.
No go.
What is the timeframe for the updated Vista 64 bit driver?

I've had that problem twice in the 1000
and it was due to a blown modulator chip.
But you should contact Flex Radio direct and let them sort it out.

Has anyone had success with the 5000 running N1MM on RTTY?
