We use the Linemaster Treadlite T-91-PS switches at work for intercom panels
in operator areas. They're reliable and easy to wire up. I did a search on
eBay and found one. It has a lower spring weight, so you won't have to step
on it as hard as the Clipper series. It's also lighter weight so it

Just in case anyone's looking for a wireless PTT button to match up with a
Bluetooth headset setup for the Flex, I've used this little kit from eBay on
my Flex-3000 to great success. It's 12v powered, dry contact closure, and
it'll handle 30A at 12V (surely more than enough for PTT ;^)
The latenc
almost impossible to read on a Smartphone and the messages themselves end up
being over 1 MB each.

Here's a nice little isolation transformer I've used a bit. They're easy to
solder down to a perf-board. Only 4 pins are wired, but the other pins lend
to mechanical stability. The price is good and they're handy to just have
around for general use.

It'd be great if the radio/computer can use NTP time to do the same thing
based on network connectivity. Depending on the distance to the timebase,
it can be compensated pretty accurately. That might be handy if we are not
in a position to have access to the GPS swarm.

We changed to mono-band antennas for Field Day years ago for some of the
same issues you describe below.
