The RMS Express Help files have a fairly comprehensive setup guide for a
5K. Look under Flex Radios. I need to update it, but it's a good
starting point. Contact me off list iff you hit a snag.

Maybe I'm wrong, but most of the controls (including, I think the Drive
slider) move in 1 dB increments. In a Lab environment, +/- 1 dB in the
RF domain is a tough target to maintain without a LOT of process.

It's better. Fun to play with and works well for me. Astounding to null
a BC station and hear another underneath. Or, to help clean-up
summertime noise in 75 meters. Does need disparate antenna orientation
for RX1 and RX2.

I'm not a MixW user, but I believe that program provides a scanning

Watch the AGC-T slider control as you cross the Out Of Band boundary
and I think you'll notice that it moves to a default level that is
different from your AGC-T setting within the Ham bands.

I've looked through the KB and Google searched using keywords but I
haven't located an answer to this query.
Since the 5K is a duplex radio, meaning, as I understand it, the RX is
not muted during TX, what happens to the RX AGC during/following TX?
For example, if the RX AGC has decay and
I don't use Vista but have followed some Flex threads about snipping
services that aren't need, in order to lighten the prrocess(or) load.
Today's Windows Secrets newsletter mentioned this freeware program
