Is the hard clipper _only_ applied to Firebox systems, or am I risking my MP3+ system as well? Thanks. Chris - AE6VK -Original Message- From: Eric Wachsmann - FlexRadio [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Wednesday, April 05, 2006 3:25 PM To: 'root [knesbitt]';

Re-ran the test as per Eric's recommendations below. Just for clarification, remove the *_To Line Out_ *cable on rear of SDR. Set V RMS to 1.00 Run Test Line Out 3 4 terminated across 50 ohm load shows 1.69 vac. Terminating this line for the test eliminates the variations due to differing test

Further clarification: _DO NOT_ use the as-read terminated value in the SDR console/audio/soundcard/output voltage setting. The terminated reading is only to be used as a reference for those who obtain a significantly different unterminated voltage level due to loading variations. Cheers. Kirb,
