The problem was possible due to the D44-card-to-computer-case
connection. I used electrical tape to isolate the D44 card's L-bracket
mount from the metal of the computer. The bottom tab and the sides of
the L-bracket were taped to electrically insulat
Remember "computers are evil" they are out to get us. The very design
of the PC is nothing but trouble, some are so poorly designed that
current for the power flows through the chassis and power can flow
into a card through the L bracket causing all sorts of nasties, that
bracket is connected
The problem was possible due to the D44-card-to-computer-case connection. I
used electrical tape to isolate the D44 card's L-bracket mount from the metal
