I have been able to capture and playback audio using the PowerSDR Wave File
Controls, but when I open the file independent from PowerSDR and try to
listen to it, I just hear some clicking sounds. In addition, some of the
files are quite large and wouldn't really be appropriate for posting on a

Sounds like you are recording/playing back the I/Q signals to/from
the radio. By default set at 48000 and set in the WAV Recorder,
options to record Pre-Processed on receive (IF from the radio) and
Post-Processed (IF to the radio)To record true WAV file , change
the options in the

Thanks for your tips on using the 'Wave' function for recording and
subsequent conversion to MP3 format. I followed your instructions and set
the sample rate in PowerSDR Wave to 11025, post-processed receive audio, and
pre-processed audio transmit.
A 15-second recording of a SSB station
I dont see a selection on the mixer to select
.wav as a transmit source. Can someone enlighten me on these points?

Look at Wave, Properties, I think. I'm away from the PC with
PowerSDR.
I use the free Audacity sound editor to resample down to smaller
files.
