They most certainly do stick. You just have to configure
PowerSDR to
make them persistent.

Tim,
It works for me also. But, you do not have to have the Save Slider/Display
changes checked -- I don't.
I set up VAR1 for DIGL to be: RTTY, -2460 Hz, -1960 Hz
I set up VAR1 for DIGU to be: DIGTL, 100 Hz, 3900 Hz
They are ALWAYS there whenever I start PowerSDR.

There are several ways to skin this filter cat, as Ray correctly noted.

Are you right-clicking on a filter button selecting Configure? When you
do that, any buttons you customize using the form that appears will stick
between operating sessions.

Dan,
Yes, you can re-define any of the 12 filters for each mode. Right-click on any
filter button select Configure from the menu that appears. This will
display a form where you can re-define ANY of the buttons for ANY mode.

Dan,
I do not see that behavior here.
Of course, I assume that you have done the 1st step in any effort to fix a
problem in PowerSDR -- do a database reset to factory defaults? (This may
have been mentioned in a previous message in this thread -- my memory is not
that good anymore...hi..hi.)
Now this is a different issue. Thanks for describing it in detail.
CW filters, like DIGx filters are dependent on center frequency. For
CW it is the Pitch Frequency (or the click tune offset for DIGx). The
filter's low and high cut values will always auto correct so that the

I'm like you Dan, sometimes I want to listen to a 2khz or wider swath

hear something I want to check out, I adjust the frequency as required
to get it into the range of my 600 hz pitch, put it into cw and go from

Flex makes a great CW radio. Flex has had its challenges with CW, but has
worked hard to make a top shelf unit for the number one mode. With that in

Huh? Sure they do. You can make any permanent filter you want for any mode
and it will stick around. You just have to do it for one of
The annoying CW sidetone squelch tail heard by the operator on several
bands, especially six meters, remains a significant flaw that can even be
seen on the radio's scope. Flex has acknowledged that a problem exits.
