Never mind - uninstall and reinstall of PowerSDR fixed the issue - when I installed PowerSDR origionally I did not have a Flex 1500 so the drivers were not available when I first plugged in the1500 - I now have the TurboEncabulator Interfaces installed and radio is working at least on RX. I had

A desktop is probably best for home use, but don't overlook a laptop! We're using a Flex-3000 with an older Dell XPS1530 laptop. Win7 Pro 32 bit, 4GB RAM. After a bit of optimization (turning off stuff it didn't really need in the first) we were even able to use the built-in Firewire interface

Just took the station down . They try again to put a port in at 11 AM tomorrow so NO lifting !! The TS 930 weighs about 45 lbs !!! I hope to have the Flex 1500 on the air by the weekend and hope CW works ok (plze). Put GBoost on my computer and have Windows Aero disabled along

Richard, The receiver audio is intended to come out on through the Phones output. Rerouting through the computer speakers can be done, but not as designed. Using the USB port the 1500 is limited to half duplex where as the 3000/5000 are actually able to run full duplex .i'll discuss this with
