Have been out from home for some days now, but I'm back, and have just rewired
the Mic. Works fine
on all bands except 15 and 10 meters. It's not so bad on 15 meters, but 10
meter is really bad. I

Ok, I get the message. Another thing: I seem to remember I have read something
about the Yaesu cable I am using is not 100 % compatible and should be fixed,
but I can't remember where I read it or how it should be fixed.

I am assuming from what you said that your shack is in the barn.
If this is the case remember that the counterpoise - the metal roof on
the barn - is the other half of a 1/2 wave dipole.

I have had my FLEX-5000A for a couple of months now, and I love it. Get great
reports on audio on all bands, (haven't tested 6 meter yet, since I don't have
an antenna for this band), but on 10 meter they complain about really bad RF in
the audio. What can be the cause, and what can I do about i
