Jeff, Now I am really confused. In TUNE mode my forward power and reflected
power selections read 0W as if they are disabled in TUNE. That would
certainly explain the 1.0:1
One difference seems to be: I don't have the internal
tuner in my SDR, and it sounds to me like you do.

Jeff,
As we used to say, Two trains, one track! You are absolutely correct.
The
problem only exists with the internal Z-100 tuner. When it is bypassed and
the extenal SG-237 is used all works as you described. I wonder why that was
done.

I just noticed a problem with the PowerSDR SVN 692 SWR reading. The SWR
reading is 1.0:1 when using TUNE read on the PowerSDR multi-function meter.
However key down reading with the DRIVE slider set to 25W yields 21W forward
power with 4W reflected power again measured on the PowerSDR
Interesting! I just tried the same test on my svn
692, and it seems fine here.
Test was: 25 watts TUNE mode.
My SDR Meter reads:
27 watts Forward
5 watts Reflected
2.6:1 SWR
I haven't checked the Fwd Ref values against a
table, but the SDR1K SWR reading corresponds nicely to
