Jeff, As we used to say, "Two trains, one track"! You are absolutely correct. The "problem" only exists with the internal Z-100 tuner. When it is bypassed and the extenal SG-237 is used all works as you described. I wonder why that was done. Jim ___

Interesting! I just tried the same test on my svn 692, and it seems fine here. Test was: 25 watts TUNE mode. My SDR Meter reads: 27 watts Forward 5 watts Reflected 2.6:1 SWR I haven't checked the Fwd & Ref values against a table, but the SDR1K SWR reading corresponds nicely to

I just noticed a problem with the PowerSDR SVN 692 SWR reading. The SWR reading is 1.0:1 when using TUNE read on the PowerSDR multi-function meter. However key down reading with the DRIVE slider set to 25W yields 21W forward power with 4W reflected power again measured on the PowerSDR multi
