I am almost with Eric. I see no performance hit AT ALL on the Flex 5000 but I think you are using a Delta 44 and another SDR hardware so I cannot comment. I am using for the development a P4 3.4 GHz hyperthread, socket 478. It is pretty ancient. The VS2008 runs with less CPU% than the 2003

Using SDR-1000 and Test branch v1.17.0 SVN 2635 On Windows XP SP3 Using virtual com ports Com0Com in v1.16.1 for CAT and PTT control of HRD-DM780 without any problem. The virtual com port for PTT control is not recognised as a valid port number in the test branch. Any idea ? Eddy ON5UQ.
